Soviet film posters built from distorted perspective and figures spun off the vertical.

What it does

Vladimir and Georgii Stenberg built a projector to trace and distort film frames, then redrew them by hand, which let them stretch perspective past what a camera could see. Figures tilt off the vertical, scale jumps between elements, and hand-lettered Cyrillic titles curve through the composition. Flat colour, no modelling. Their Man with a Movie Camera poster is the emblem of the whole period.

The prompt

A Soviet Stenberg-style film poster for [Subject]. Deliberately distorted perspective beyond what a lens could produce, the main figure tilted well off the vertical, abrupt scale jumps between foreground and background elements. Hand-drawn lettering curving through the composition. Flat unmodelled colour, red, black and cream only. Offset litho, slight registration drift.

Replace [Subject] with what you are shooting. Everything else is deliberate: the gear, stock and lighting are what push a generator towards this look.
